On November 14th and 15th in 2025, three representatives from JoomGallery friends participated at the JoomlaDay 2025. The biggest event in the German-speaking Joomla! community took place in Bad Krozingen. Located about 20 kilometers from Freiburg im Breisgau, the Kurhaus was chosen as the venue. The JoomGallery component was present as extension sponsor. People were able to visit our exhibition stand and get in touch with the people behind JoomGallery friends. As JG 4 has been release already a few months ago, several questions revolved around the compatibility of the component and the new Joomla! 6 version. Other topics were the history of the extension, new features, and the considerable amount of work still required for its further development. Project manager of the new JG4 version Manuel, presented our efforts up until now and the future goals to the community on the main stage on Friday afternoon.
Apart from a lot of volunteery work for the development of our software the maintenance of this website costs real money. Additionally the form has to be hosted and maintained. Support the development of our JoomGallery project with a donation so that we can continue to provide most of our software free and ad-free.
We say THANK YOU for your support!
