Which payment method do YOU ​​use online?

The volunteer developers of JoomGallery are planning for the future. Currently, two friends of our image component are working on a solution to allow users to sell images from their gallery again. While they develop and program in the background, they're asking:

"Which payment methods do you prefer online?"

This is about which methods you use to pay for all kinds of online purchases, regardless of where you live. Payment extensions will then be implemented for the most popular and requested methods.
We would be delighted if you would simply comment on the dedicated thread in the JG Forum with your wishes and preferences for payment methods.

JoomGallery Friends at JoomlaDay 2025

On November 14th and 15th in 2025, three representatives from JoomGallery friends participated at the JoomlaDay 2025. The biggest event in the German-speaking Joomla! community took place in Bad Krozingen. Located about 20 kilometers from Freiburg im Breisgau, the Kurhaus was chosen as the venue. The JoomGallery component was present as extension sponsor. People were able to visit our exhibition stand and get in touch with the people behind JoomGallery friends.
As JG 4 has been release already a few months ago, several questions revolved around the compatibility of the component and the new Joomla! 6 version.
Other topics were the history of the extension, new features, and the considerable amount of work still required for its further development.
Project manager of the new JG4 version Manuel, presented our efforts up until now and the future goals to the community on the main stage on Friday afternoon.
