JoomGallery 4 – The Stable Version is finally Here!

No more waiting: The first stable version of JoomGallery 4 has been released! This new version is fully compatible with Joomla! 4.x and 5.x and brings a modern, powerful, and extendable photo gallery to Joomla!.

A Complete Overhaul - For Maximum Future-Proofing

A dedicated team of passionate JoomGallery users has worked intensively on the new version for the past three years. The code of JoomGallery 3 is originated from PonyGallery in 2007 and than developed organically over the years. This was everything but a clean and consistent codebase. Therefore, in 2021, the decision was made for a complete restart. This redevelopment allowed the creation of modern, flexible, and future-proof structures that integrate perfectly into Joomla! 4 and newer versions.

Language Packages

ATTENTION
If you have already installed an earlier development or test version (dev, alpha, beta, rc) of JoomGallery 4 - an update to the stable version is not possible. You must uninstall the previous JoomGallery 4 and then reinstall the stable version!

An update from the JoomGallery 3.x is perfectly possible. See this article for more information.
